*Solicit for support
The Principal General of Mboho Unity Schools, Mrs. Glory Hanson has appealed for support from the Board Chairman, Akwa Ibom State Roads & Other Infrastructure Maintenance Agency, AKROIMA, Prince Godwin Ntukudeh in an effort to actualize the dream of its founding fathers.
Mrs. Glory Hanson, who disclosed this during a courtesy call on Prince Ntukudeh in his office, in Uyo, last weekend, commended the board chairman for his contributions to the school right from inception in 2002.
She specifically expressed appreciation to Ntukudeh for having single handedly built the school and provided 3 buses to ease staff and students in transportation, alongside furnishing the school to be among the best.
While describing Mboho Unity Schools as Prince Ntukudeh’s dream-child that must be nurtured and sustained to actualize the original intention to which it was established, she presented the immediate needs of the schools to include; the tarring of the main entrance into the school, provision of seats for a congenial learning environment, alongside updating the computer laboratories with internet, coral draw, software etc.
Responding, the AKROIMA boss Prince Godwin Ntukudeh commended the delegation for paying him the august visit. He thanked God for sustaining and uplifting the school to reach where it is.
He expressed delight that the school which started small has grown like the biblical muster seed into giant institution renowned for its educational excellence. He appealed to the staff to continue giving their best to ensure that the purpose to which the school was established does not become a mirage.
Meanwhile, he assured that their request will be positively looked into as he noted that education remains the bedrock of development in any society.
Also present during the visit were; chairman school management committee, Akparawa (sir) Stephen Abia, chairman PTA Mr. Austin OkoKon, Head Teacher, Primary Sch, Mrs Ude me Ekpeyong, Akparawa Godwin James and Akparawa Idongesit Enyong.
